"So I have good news, and I have bad news. Good news--we're going to Scotland! Bad news? It's going to be dangerous as fuck." Marcel grimaced as he flipped on the display to show the team what he was talking about.
"I know none of you is big on sitting still, but I promise this is worth the listen, and I'll try to keep it short," Marcel explained, his tone uncharacteristically serious as he clicked the remote in his hand and brought up an image of a micro SD card.
"This itty bitty, teeny tiny device is what we've been after this whole time. On this drive are government secrets that would give even the likes of us nightmares. And they're being used to blackmail world leaders into letting a rogue agency do whatever the fuck they want.
He pressed the button again, and the screen changed to show a globe with a glowing dot pinging little radar ripples across the UK. The map zoomed in on the area closer, showing that the dot was over Scotland specifically.
"Obviously, the tips we have didn't give us a precise location--these things are so small they can easily be taken on the move by their guardians. We actually heard about this one a couple days ago; text messages from a person of interest in the states suggested it. I was hesitant to send you out without confirmation since that particular bastard isn't to be trusted no matter who he's talking to. However, we've got new information from a source inside the organization that made these little monstrosities--and it confirms that location. In fact, we've managed to narrow it down to the northern coast."
"Chances are we're not the only interested party; we've got reason to believe we'll have competition trying to reach any of the existing drives. Rumor has it that the Red Hand is also on the lookout for these "Black Boxes." Apparently the Agency has already moved this one at least once since its creation."
He pressed the button again, turning the screen off as he looked at the group.
"This intel has to be acted on immediately. So, like it or not, if we're going to find this thing, we have to haul ass."
