- Jane was born to an Israeli father and British mother, born and raised in Israel. Her mother wished for her to pursue modeling, throwing her into every pageant possible growing up, but when Jane turned 18, she joined the IDF. It was mandatory conscription for two years, but she realized she was actually enjoying it; advancing in the service to become a full combat soldier.
- After years of serving and worrying that she would never advance any higher or have a bigger purpose, a CIA agent reached out to her, recruiting her for her team. Maria Ortiz lovingly called her girls, "las diosas", and Janie was quick to trust these women with her life.
- Maria had been watching a vicious dictator for years, aiming to bring him down. The team took their time building up reconnaissance, figuring out the best plan of attack before they were ready to move. When the day came, Shelby wound up betraying them to help Harrod out of the country instead of putting him in cuffs. She shot Janie in the arm when she tried to stop her, and it's the only grudge she holds on to till this day. She swore she would kill Shelby if she ever saw her again.
