Notable markings: Lina has multiple scars from her father's abuse. The most noticeable are a scar on the outer side of her left forearm and Similar ones on her left side. She has burn marks from cigarette burns on the inner part of her right forearm and outer part of her left bicep that have long since been healed. Recently, she has received a gunshot graze on her outer left arm, and several cuts on her legs. Some of the deeper ones will scar.

Appearance: Lina is average height for a woman, slender and thinner and then most, she has large doe eyed brown eyes and full lips. A delicate beauty about her and a beautiful smile when she chooses to grace others with it. Her hair falls in waves, but falls more on the straighter side. It's a dark rich brown. Lina tends to always keep it up out of her face when she works with a messy bun or ponytail. She has a no nonsense air about her, and sometimes gives the sense of having knowing what it’s like to grow up rough. She presents herself as a professional and does what she can to make herself appear as strong and confident as she can.

Personality: Lina is a quiet woman, with a certain intelligence about her. She’d rather stick to herself then letting others in, more so because she hates dealing with jackass’s, but also she doesn’t get hurt. She is more talkative than her sister, but nonetheless she is a woman who tends to keep to herself. When she is spoken too, she's rather open with her opinions when you're willing to listen.

Lina is an incredibly intelligent woman who is both passionate and quite the silent force to be reckoned with. She got into college at a young age, and was able to pay for school from the scholarships and grants she received. She’s a young doctor, but confident in her ability to treat others. She is first and foremost her sister's protector and will do whatever she needs to to defend her from their father--or any man for that matter. Since her sister has moved away for her own work, Lina makes sure to stay in touch, and now plays more of the concerned mother role after their fathers incarceration.

Lina couldn't afford to be timid like her sister when they were growing up. She had to be the strong one, and it's turned her into a woman of survival, and made her a very resourceful woman. When her uncle took her and her sister in as teenagers, it grew more.

She took what her father did to them and instead of shying away, used her hatred against him to fuel herself to be better. She's a prideful woman who wants nothing more than for her little sister to be safe and happy. She's tried to turn herself into being a good role model for Marie, so she's given herself the confidence and poise of a strong woman. Hoping it will be a positive in her sister's life.

Despite the strong act she puts on, Lina often times questions herself. Mostly when it comes to men, given her ex husband and his abuse. She often wonders if what she does is right, and how she will make it to the next day. Questioning herself in almost everything. She holds herself up a lot of the time, not trusting anyone but herself on who she can rely on. She has several insecurities and oftentimes blames herself for her mother's death. It's something she struggles with to this day, and caused some PTSD she has to deal with.

Background:
-    Lina was born the oldest daughter to David and Katherine Rogers. From an early age she was subjugated to abuse, mostly witnessing her mother get physically and emotionally abused by her father until she was 14.
-    After witnessing her father murder her mother, her father was charged with murder and multiple accounts of child neglect and abuse. Lina and her sister, Marie, came to live with their closest relative.
-    Lina has scars from her father's abuse. On the outer side of her left forearm there is a four inch scar from when she fell on broken glass, as well as other resembling scars on her left leg from some of the deeper cuts. She has cigarette burns on her arms and legs as well.
-    Lina blames herself for her mother's death, because if not for her, she feels like her mother would still be here and not have gotten into the argument with her drunk father that ultimately led to her death.
-    Lina made sure to take the brunt of whatever physical abuse their father decided to dual out on her and her sister.
-    After they lost their mother, and their father was incarcerated, Lina and Marie moved to Kenai Alaska from Northern -    California, to live with their mother's brother who was their last living relative.
-    Uncle Elliot gave Lina her love of the sea, as he was a fisherman. He’d take the girls out with him on some of his longer trips and Lina instantly fell in love. After several months of learning to trust, Lina and Mari were more happy with their uncle then they had ever been with their father. Lina felt like she’d finally found home.
-    Lina excelled in school exponentially, and was able to graduate two years before she was supposed too. She managed to enter college at sixteen, and pay for it through multiple scholarships and grants, and eventually got her degree in trauma medicine.
-    She met her husband Steven while at school, and the two dated for a couple years before they were married. Lina thought she could be happy with Steven, as he was kind, charming, and treated her like a queen. She genuinely thought she could love the man. However it wasn’t long before after they were married that Steven revealed his true colors, and became both emotionally and physically abusive to her.
-    Steven would be away for work a lot of the time, leaving Lina to feel lonely at times, and left her alone with dark thoughts. He started lying to her at some points as well. The two would get into constant domestic disputes, and he was arrested on more than one occasion. She almost lost her medical license at one point, which lead to her finally filing for divorce.
-    In the following months Steven harassed her, until she finally got a restraining order and moved back home to Kenai instead of living in Anchorage. She’s been there for six months, and has been divorced from Steven for a year.
-    She opened up her own clinic on the outskirts of Kenai, closest to the waterfront. She lives in the loft apartment above the clinic, and spends her time with her uncle on his boat when she’s not busy.
-    Marie moved to the lower forty eight for work as a Music Professor, and Choir director in Washington. Lina calls her once a week to check in on her, and see how she’s doing.
